We are the parents of a 12-year old Bartosz, who was diagnosed with a very rare genetic defect – abnormal male karyotpe 46XY in the long arm of a chromosome of the pair 15 there is a duplication of the segment covering the strias q 14 and q 15 (so far we have not found any person with the same defect in Poland or in the world). This disease manifests itself by many abnormalities, including: mental disability, features of autism, intellectual handicap, psycho-motor retardation with speech disorders, fits of aggression, autoaggression and epileptic seizures.

Although Bartek does not look like a sick child, his behaviour differs from that of his peers.

In order to improve our son's development he needs a systematic, long-lasting work of a special pedagogue, psychologist, speech therapist, rehabilitator, which obviously costs a lot of money.

The most effective are rehabilitative camps but they are very expensive (the cost of a 14-day camp ranges from PLN 3000 to well over ten thousand).

We are not able to bear the costs of these camps and that is why we ask ALL PEOPLE OF GOOD WILL for a financial support which would be used for the improvement of our son's health.

Our dream is that Bartosz will one day become an independent person.

If you would like to give some money for the rehabilitation of our son, below you will find the account number of the foundation (the one that supports the treatment and the rehabilitation of our son Bartosz)
